The Patriots beat the Minnesota Vikings 26-20 in overtime at Gillette Stadium, as Bledsoe completes 45 of 70 passes. In praising the team’s quarterback and teasing its fans, Boston Globe sports writer Dan Shaughnessy writes, “It was one of those rare Foxboro Stadium days when the throws actually outnumbered the throw-ups.”
